Every port includes
- Unmetered bandwidthUse the full speed of your port, with no data caps and no overage fees.
- BGP multi-homingTraffic is routed across five upstream carriers. If one degrades, BGP shifts traffic to the others. The Amanah team helps with BGP configuration and routing policies.
- Always-on DDoS mitigationTraffic is monitored and filtered continuously. Mitigation is active at all times, included at no extra cost.
- 24/7 in-house NOCAmanah’s own network operations team watches traffic and routing around the clock. No outsourced helpdesk.
- Dual-stack IPv4 and IPv6Both from Amanah’s own ARIN-registered space, with custom subnets, RDNS and bring-your-own IPs supported.
- TORIX peeringAmanah peers at TORIX, the Toronto Internet Exchange, where more than 230 networks exchange traffic at 100G.
Why traffic always finds a path
Amanah’s network is multi-homed across five carriers. BGP automatically selects the best path for every destination and reroutes around degraded links.
- Five upstream carriers, BGP multi-homed, with no single point of failure in the transit path
- Amanah operates AS32489, its own autonomous system, registered with ARIN since 2004
- Cogent AS174, Zayo AS6461 and NetActuate AS36236 are named upstreams
- More than 400 networks are reachable inside 151 Front Street West
- Amanah peers at TORIX, where more than 230 networks exchange traffic at 100G

Common questions about Amanah's IP Transit.
Pricing and billing
Do I need a long-term contract?
No. IP transit from Amanah is available on month-to-month terms with no long-term contract required. You can scale up, scale down, or cancel with standard notice.
How does unmetered billing work?
With unmetered billing you pay a flat monthly rate for a committed port speed and use the full capacity of that port with no per-gigabyte overage charges. Pick the model that best fits your traffic profile.
Are there setup fees?
A one-time setup fee is equal to the first month of service applies. Payable through credit cards, PayPal, bank transfer, and Bitcoin.
Will you match another provider's price?
Yes. Our Price Match Guarantee means we’ll beat any comparable IP transit quote by 10%. Send us the quote and we’ll do the rest.
Network
What is IP transit?
IP transit connects your network to the rest of the internet. You announce your IP prefixes to Amanah over BGP, and Amanah carries your traffic to and from every other network on the internet through its upstreams and peering.
Do I need my own ASN?
Yes. IP transit is a BGP-based service and requires you to operate your own Autonomous System Number (ASN). If you do not have an ASN, contact the Amanah team to discuss alternative connectivity options.
Can I announce my own IP space?
Yes. Clients with their own IP allocations can announce their prefixes via BGP through Amanah’s network. The Amanah team supports BGP configuration and routing policy setup for your announced prefixes.
Ports and features
What bandwidth and port speeds are available?
IP transit is available from 1 Gbps up to 100 Gbps, with room to scale as your traffic grows. Talk to the team about the right committed and burst levels for your needs.
Do you support IPv6?
Yes. IP transit includes full dual-stack IPv4 and IPv6 support. You can announce both IPv4 and IPv6 prefixes over the same BGP session.
Is DDoS protection included?
Yes. Always-on DDoS mitigation is included at no extra cost. Traffic is monitored and filtered continuously. There is no need to enable it separately or pay an add-on fee.
How many networks can I reach through Amanah?
Amanah connects to 400+ networks from 151 Front Street West, Canada’s most connected building, giving your traffic direct, low-latency paths to major carriers, content networks, and cloud providers.
